"I was introduced to your protocol by a family at church. This lady had polymyalgia and migraines and was completely healed. After learning of my ankylosing, she later shared your info.
I was otherwise a picture of perfect health until I hit 48. It took 2 years and a loss of 20 pounds before I was diagnosed. Immediately I visited a naturopathic doctor and started on an anti-inflammatory diet (which included fruit, among other things on your do not eat list). In the meantime I wasn’t stabilized with prednisone so I started on Enbrel. After 4 months and no improvement with this diet, now weighing 98 lbs , I gave it up.
Not long after that I developed Hashimoto's disease, and found I had severe osteoporosis.
The Enbrel along with cortisone injections and occasional prednisone kept me stable the next 6 yrs. Again I tried another anti-inflammatory diet and the only benefit was less fatigue.
This past august I broke my lumbar spine and while healed now I had nerve pain down my buttocks and my legs. My MRI showed the nerves in my lumbar area being compressed. The doctor said if I can’t live with it my only option is surgery.
So after praying on this I knew God was calling me to do your protocol. In my own thinking I held out very little hope. My husband and family supported me and yet didn’t expect to hear of any improvement anytime soon.
It’s going on 4 weeks and I’m putting on my socks without everyone in ear shot knowing! No nerve pain for the most part! I can turn over in bed without nerve pain, and bend over to pick things up off the floor! My lumbar area is greatly improved and I have more energy.
The ankylosis largely affects (symptomatically) my neck and sacral joints as well as an overall feeling of inflammation and pain. I don’t have any fusing at the cervical spine, just minimal arthritis. The sacral joints haven’t been imaged in years but I do have less flexibility.
In just this last few weeks I have greater energy and less burning in my neck. Absolutely no migraines in 4 wks either! I have done EXACTLY as you teach, following the do and do not list to the letter. It agrees with me beautifully. I look forward to my meals. I never liked breakfast until now with my bowl of beans and veggies followed with an egg and a cup of hot water! I love the nuts and nut butter too! I’m enjoying a gentle stroll with my family once in a while without pain.
