"I've been doing the no sugar diet and eating according to the allowed foods for 10 days and I feel amazing! I am 60 years old and realized I have been on sugar since the day I was born because I was bottle-fed. I've learned a lot over the years about healthy eating but never knew how to put all the pieces together and what the biggest culprit is: SUGAR. I have 10 children ages 18-36 and 7 grandchildren and several of my daughters are reading Karen's book and trying to cook accordingly. My biggest thrill not eating sugar is that I feel very elastic and not creaky. I run and swim everyday (in the ocean) and am not dealing with aches and pains anywhere . My 67 year old husband is eating the same and feeling great also. He's hoping this diet will help in his very slow rehab of a hip injury. It seems to be getting a little better in just a 10 day time.
